This and the Hot are great. Usually when I get store bought salsa I have to adjust it. With hot salsa's I add garlic, onion, and other spices so it actually has flavor. Or I get a good mild salsa and add scorpion paste to make it spicy. I still add scorpion to these, but thats just cuz I'm crazy like that.Truely I'd be happy with them straight from the jar. Just tried this at my daughter’s house and I’m already obsessed! Incredible balance of flavor, heat and acid. And with an onion hating husband this is perfection. Going to try it on tacos, salads, in guac. 🥑 Yay!

This is my go to spicy salsa, for sure. It has enough heat that I can feel it, but not so much that it over Weems what ever I’m putting it on, and a nice, well rounded flavor.

After being disappointed by a cheese dip from another brand (extremely salty and bland), I decided to try Mateo's Salsa con queso because we love their seasoning. I'm happy to say it's SO good. Like wow! Not too salty and great flavor. I love the little pieces of small chiles too. We will always buy Mateo's from now on!
